The Arab International Academy believes in the concept of positive bilingualism, which focuses on strengthening students’ mother tongue while enabling them to achieve proficiency in one or more additional languages. This approach supports students’ learning, identity development, and meaningful engagement with the world.
In the Arabic Pathway, Arabic is used as the primary language of instruction for core subjects, alongside an advanced English language programme, with French or Spanish offered as a third language at varying levels.
In the English Pathway, English is the primary language of instruction for core subjects, while students learn Arabic at levels appropriate to their linguistic abilities, in addition to studying French or Spanish as a third language at varying levels.
Through this approach, the Academy provides a bilingual learning environment that enables students to build a strong linguistic foundation supporting both their academic learning and personal growth.
