Music and Art Education
Arts and music play a central role in the daily experience of children at the Arab International Academy Early Years. They provide children with a safe space to express their thoughts and feelings, nurture imagination, and support self-discovery and exploration of the world around them.
Children are introduced to the arts through drawing, colouring, modelling, movement, music, singing, and dramatic play, within enjoyable, age-appropriate activities that support their sensory and emotional development. Through these experiences, children develop their fine and gross motor skills, learn to collaborate, express themselves, and build self-confidence.
We also intentionally integrate the arts into daily learning as a natural language through which children make sense of their experiences and express what they are learning in diverse ways. These artistic experiences are celebrated through simple performances, activities, and events in which children participate with joy, showcasing their creativity and progress.
